Postgraduate training:

In 1989 I was qualified with a Master of Science in Engineering (diploma with honors, Leningrad Institute of Aviation Instrument Making). Post-graduate studies (1996-2000) include:

A postgraduate study was completed in time. I received a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences in 2000. Thesis on “Research of measurements of moving objects spatial location by television methods” was presented in Saint - Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. The abstract of the thesis is available on request.

Ph.D. Thesis Project:

I have developed my own technology which is best suited for 3D modeling in measurements of full vector parameters for moving objects of any type. Note that the 3D modeling program immediately based on affine transforms without using Direct3D and OpenGL technology. For this purpose a specific C++ classes was provided. I can execute the modelling of moving objects in a couple of days. Both program and model will be of the optimal size. An ability of generating hardware and software compatibility compact executable on C++ is covered.

Thesis was done using Borland C++ and defended with excellent mark. Some statistics: 55,990 bytes of C++ code and C++ classes have been created for my research project. This software runs under DOS and Windows (if required).

The method enables us to solve several problems of practical importance in a number of areas such as 3D computer graphics, measurements of moving objects spatial location by television methods, flight test in real time, flight safety, flight control systems, preset guidance, tracking, nonmaterial research, quick look data, telemetering, data acquisition, attitude control systems and controllability, command guidance systems, directional stability, remote control, systems simulation, vehicle acquisition, discrimination and identification, digital image processing and recognition, computer vision.
